Tramex Launch the new MRH moisture inspection kit which incorporates Tramex’s reliable non invasive impedance test with a heavy duty pin probe and a relative humidity probe.
When testing different building materials simply choose the appropriate scale and push the meter against the material and read the results on the clear display. The signal will penetrate deep into the building material so it is ideal for reading through tiles and other coverings.
When using the MRH for non invasive testing of wood the specific gravity can be selected to give more accurate measurement for different wood species.
By using the heavy duty Tramex Wood Probe the user can take instant pin meter measurements of moisture content by percentage in wood and wood products.
The Tramex MRH kit also has an optional slide action hammer electrode for measuring up to a depth of 1.5".
The MRH Kit contains a plug in hygrometer which provides simultaneous readings for Humidity in both (%RH) and grains/lb or grams/kg in addition to Temperature and Dew Point and displays them together on the clear display.This can be used to assess the immediate environmental conditions and when used with the included Infra-red thermometer, it is simple to identify condensation problems throughout a building.
The humidity probe can also be used to measure Equilibrium Relative Humidity in structural materials such as concrete, masonry, and other building materials. It can be used to test to international standards in concrete such as ASTM F2170 and F2420 and British Standards BS8201, BS8203 and BS5325
